  WELCOME TO THE PEBA DEFINED BENEFIT PLANS

The Public Employees Benefits Agency administers several defined benefits plans on behalf of various employers under The Public
Service Superannuation Plan (PSSP). In 1977, with the inception of the Public Employees Pension Plan (PEPP), these plans became closed to new members. As a result of their closed status, these pension plans are commonly referred to as the "old plans.”

This section includes:
  • The Public Service Superannuation Plan;
  • The  Anti-Tuberculosis League Superannuation Plan;
  • The Saskatchewan Transportation Company Superannuation Plan; and
  • The Liquor Board Superannuation Plan.

PEBA Defined Benefit Plans also provides day-to-day pension administration service for the Power Corporation Superannuation Plan (PCSP).

In addition to being governed by their legislation, these plans are also governed by The Superannuation (Supplementary Provisions) Act.

  • The Workers' Compensation Board Superannuation Plan became the Pension Plan For Employees of the Saskatchewan Workers' Compensation Board effective January 1, 2005 and now has its own plan document.
