Disability Income Plan

The Public Employees Disability Income Plan was established in 1978. The Plan provides long-term disability benefits to employees (excluding SGEU members) of Executive Government, several Crown Corporations and various Agencies, Boards and Commissions. The Plan is self-insured and is managed by the Public Employees Benefits Agency, Saskatchewan Finance.  The Co-operators Life Insurance Company provides claim adjudication and benefit payment to thePlan. 

Rehabilitation Services are provided by Northern Rehabilitation and Consulting Services (NRCS) Inc. and Occupational Rehabilitation
Group of Canada (ORGOC).
